Forgive And Forget – Proverbs 17:9

Whoever would foster love
covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter
separates close friends.

Forgiving covers a the matter.
Forgetting is mandatory.

10 The lips of a king speak as an oracle,
and his mouth does not betray justice.

A legitimate national leader
is a prophet who secures justice.

15[b] “There are three things that are never satisfied,
four that never say, ‘Enough!’:

16 the grave, the barren womb,
land, which is never satisfied with water,
and fire, which never says, ‘Enough!’
