No Prevarication And Only My Daily Bread
7 “Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.
Falsehood, lies, poverty, and riches are deceptive.
Provide my daily needs.
Make me virtuous person so that I will not disgrace the name of God.
Sin Of Villains
6 Evildoers are snared by their own sin,
but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
The sin of villains ensnares them.
The followers of the Lord gladly rejoice.
5 Evildoers do not understand what is right,
but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.
Villains cannot discern righteousness.
Followers of the Lord easily grasp it.
To Confront Or Not To Confront
5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
If you love someone,
you must confront them with their foibles.
Red Pill The Fool
5 Answer a fool according to his folly,
or he will be wise in his own eyes.
Red Pill the fool
before he wises himself up
in his folly.
