Righteous Ruling, Righteous Judge
Proverbs 25:11-12

11 Like apples of gold in settings of silver
is a ruling rightly given.

12 Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold

Discipline, Punishment, And The Rod – Proverbs 23:13-14

Discipline, Punishment, And The Rod
Proverbs 23:13-14

13 Do not withhold discipline from a child;
if you punish them with the rod, they will not die.

14 Punish them with the rod
and save them from death.

New International Version (NIV)

PCDC Commentary

Disciplining children, in the main, has been discouraged in our current society.

Disciplining with a rod would certainly bring you major blowback
from your local authorities.

Punishment itself is rarely productive, and often counter-productive.

Physical discipline should not be used today, to protect all involved.

Rich is to Poor
as Borrower is to Lender.

Borrow is to Lend
As Bondage is to Slavery.
