Do Not Add To The Scriptures
Proverbs 30:5-6

Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Do not add to his words,
or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Many false religions have been founded
by adding to the Scriptures.
They will not be listed here,
but take an honest look at your religion.

The first person to add to the scriptures
was Eve in Genesis 3:2-3:

The woman said to the serpent,
“We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
but God did say,
‘You must not eat fruit from the tree
that is in the middle of the garden,
and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

God did not say not to TOUCH the fruit.
Eve touched it and she did not die,
then she ate it and died.

Adding to the Scriptures brings
God’s rebuke to you,
and proves you to be a liar.
