LEARN TO LAUGH at yourself more freely

“LEARN TO LAUGH at yourself more freely. Don’t take yourself or your circumstances so seriously. Relax and know that God is with you. When you desire GOD’S will above all else, life becomes much less threatening. Stop trying to monitor GOD’S responsibilities—things that are beyond your control. Find freedom by accepting the boundaries of your domain. Laughter lightens your load and lifts your heart into heavenly places. Your laughter rises to heaven and blends with angelic melodies of praise. Just as parents delight in the laughter of their children, so GOD delight in hearing HIS children laugh. GOD rejoices when you trust HIM enough to enjoy your life lightheartedly. Do not miss the Joy of The LORD’S Presence by carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Rather, take GOD’S yoke upon you and learn from HIM. GOD’S yoke is comfortable and pleasant; GOD’S burden is light and easily borne.”

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
PROVERBS 17:22

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
PROVERBS 31:25

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”
MATTHEW 1:23

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
MATTHEW 11:28–30

Prayer:
Lord help me to enjoy life lightheartedly and trust you with the rest.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs 23:26

“O my son, give me your heart.
May your eyes take delight in following my ways.”
Proverbs 23:26 (NLT)

The day you gave your heart to Jesus life truly began. The day you gave your life to the Lord you were so full of joy, so full of doing what was right in the Lord’s eyes, are you still that committed or have you changed? The Lord says he delights in following his ways and so should we. Today’s prayer is that we would all do an “once over” and check our condition. Are we more on fire or have our flames dwindled to smoke… Be Blessed and light that fire back up.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Proverbs 21:2

People may be right in their own eyes,
but the LORD examines their heart.
Proverbs 21:2 (NLT)

Are we being the kind of Christian that Jesus longs for us to be or just a Christian on the outside? God sees our heart and knows the true us. Today I pray that we would search ourselves and see if we are being the person that Jesus wants, as Christians we not only have to have a fancy cover but depth to our page… Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)

LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON GOD is the way to enjoy abundant life

“LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON GOD is the way to enjoy abundant life. You are learning to appreciate tough times, because they amplify your awareness of GOD’S Presence. Tasks that you used to dread are becoming rich opportunities to enjoy GOD’S closeness. When you feel tired, you remember that The LORD is your Strength; you take pleasure in leaning on HIM. GOD is pleased by your tendency to turn to HIM more and more frequently, especially when you are alone. When you are with other people, you often lose sight of GOD’S Presence. Your fear of displeasing people puts you in bondage to them, and they become your primary focus. When you realize this has happened, whisper The LORD’S Name; this tiny act of trust brings GOD to the forefront of your consciousness, where HE belongs. As you bask in the blessing of GOD’S nearness, The LORD’S life can flow through you to others.”

This is abundant life! Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. Proverbs 29 : 25 (NIV)

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10 : 10 (NIV)

Prayer: God help me to live in dependence on you so that I can enjoy the abundant life, full of peace and joy, Jesus died for me to live. Help me to turn to you more and more frequently this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
