Wisdom provides life and blessings from the Lord.
Ignoring wisdom harms you.
Hating wisdom brings death.
1 “Surely the day is coming;
it will burn like a furnace.
All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble,
and the day that is coming will set them on fire,”
says the Lord Almighty.
“Not a root or a branch will be left to them.
2 But for you who revere my name,
the sun of righteousness will rise
with healing in its rays.
And you will go out and frolic
like well-fed calves.
3 Then you will trample on the wicked;
they will be ashes under the soles of your feet
on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
21 With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.

If you are listening to the adulteress,
you have already left the narrow path.
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

The ant works during summer and harvest,
to prepare.
The loafer needs to wise up to that.
8 Keep to a path far from her,
do not go near the door of her house,
9 lest you lose your honor to others
and your dignity to one who is cruel,
10 lest strangers feast on your wealth
and your toil enrich the house of another.
