3 Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.

Proverbs 6:25-26

25 Do not lust in your heart after her beauty
or let her captivate you with her eyes.

26 For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread,
but another man’s wife preys on your very life.

The prostitute captures your eyes and your heart.
While she is affordable, she endangers your life.

Proverbs 3:11-12

11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.

Just as a father disciplines his favorite child,
the Lord disciplines those he loves.
