6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure,
but the income of the wicked brings ruin.

The righteous acquire treasure.
The wicked, ruin.

6 The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none,
but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.

The Discerning appropriates while the Mocker searches in vain.

6 The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood,
but the speech of the upright rescues them.

The Upright are rescued by their speech.

6 The righteousness of the upright delivers them,
but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.
