Purposes Of The Heart
Proverbs 20:5
The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters,
but one who has insight draws them out.

A person of insight can draw out the purposes of the heart.
Does this mean draw them out of his own heart or someone else’s heart or both?
Punishment For The False Witness
Proverbs 19:5
A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will not go free.

Just as no good deed goes unpunished,
so shall no False Witness.
Being Partial To The Wicked
Proverbs 18:5
It is not good to be partial to the wicked
and so deprive the innocent of justice.

What does God think about being partial to the wicked?
He is against it, because it deprives justice for the innocent.
Slandering The Poor
Proverbs 17:5
Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker;
whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.

Poverty is often blamed for ignorance and crime.
Ignorance and crime can bring poverty.
But claiming that poverty brings ignorance and crime is a slander to the poor.
Most of the poor people in the world are neither ignorant nor criminal.
Stop slandering the poor and maligning their Maker.
