Put To Shame By Your Neighbor
Proverbs 25:8
What you have seen with your eyes
do not bring hastily to court,
for what will you do in the end
if your neighbor puts you to shame?

I taught my progeny from the crib:
You cannot believe your eyes.
Magicians have profited greatly by fooling the eye.
Do not be to quick to accuse your neighbor
just because you think you saw something.
Foolishness And Mockery
Proverbs 24:9
The schemes of folly are sin,
and people detest a mocker.

Foolish schemes are sinful.
Mockers are detested.
Therefore, avoid being foolish and contemptuous.
I taught my progeny:
Don’t Mess Around.
Plenty enough goes south without messing around.
Defender Of The Fatherless
Proverbs 23:10-11

Do not move an ancient boundary stone
or encroach on the fields of the fatherless,

for their Defender is strong;
he will take up their case against you.

Jesus possessed very little in life.
One thing he did have was his Father.
Not only his Heavenly Father, from eternity to eternity,
but also, his Earthly Father, who protected him until he died.
Jesus is the Defender of the Fatherless.
He protects the interests of the fatherless.
Jesus sacrificed himself so that he could share his Heavenly Father, as well.
On Snares And Pitfalls
Proverbs 22:5
In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls,
but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.

Avoid the snares and pitfalls that plague the Wicked, and preserve your life.
Sedulous Plans
Proverbs 21:5
The plans of the diligent lead to profit
as surely as haste leads to poverty.

The contrast is between sedulous and hasty plans.
The former always leads to profit, not poverty.
